Is there a way a user can change there chat handle withen Synchronet, or is that function always done by the sysop in the user editor itself, or does it always have to be done withen the Channel Itself. I know when a new user logs in for the first time, they are given the option for his/her handle if enabled, but I can't for the like of me find anywhere to change it except in the channel itself by using the /nick handle option.
Also, for the sysops point of view and correctness, should a general user be allowed in a IRC Chat, or should it be security leveled to just the sysop and sysops that call your system.
